Dr. Silvana Colantonio, General Dentist

Dr. Silvana was born and raised in Timmins and is proud to care for the community that shaped her. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph and went on to graduate from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2016.

Since acquiring the practice in 2017, Dr. Silvana has been committed to delivering patient-focused care in a professional and welcoming environment. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association, and currently serves as Vice President of the Timmins and District Dental Society. Dr. Silvana places a strong emphasis on clear communication and individualized treatment planning. Through this approach, she fosters long-term relationships with her patients while ensuring a high standard of care for individuals and families within the community.

Dr. Venket Ravivarma, General Dentist

Dr. Venket Ravivarma was born and raised in Markham, Ontario. He completed his Bachelor of Medical Sciences, Master of Science in Biochemistry, and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Ravivarma is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association, and the Timmins and District Dental Society.

Dr. Ravivarma provides comprehensive general dental care, including preventive, restorative, and emergency treatment. He is committed to a patient-centered approach and takes pride in creating a calm, comfortable environment for his patients. Dr. Ravivarma believes in taking the time to listen, educate, and ensure each patient feels confident and at ease with their care.

Dr. Domenic Colantonio, General Dentist

Dr. Domenic was born and raised in Timmins. He obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph and  graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry.

He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Timmins and District Dental Society and former President of the Xi Psi Phi International Dental Fraternity.

Dr. Domenic practices all disciplines of dentistry, with a special interest in surgery. He offers IV sedation for anxious patients, ensuring a calm and stress-free experience, and combines technical skill with compassionate care to help every patient achieve a healthy, confident smile.

Dr. Steven Biner, General Dentist

Dr. Steven Biner has always had a love of science and passion for helping others. Shortly after earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Toronto in 2013, Dr. Biner took a position working in remote northern Ontario treating underserviced populations. In these remote settings Dr. Biner became more passionate for dental surgery, seeing the immediate relief these patients received from his treatment. He has volunteered his time and skills in Brazil, Mexico, and Grenada. Each summer he travels with a team of other experienced clinicians and a group of dental students in order to mentor and provide care to underserviced areas of the Caribbean.


Dr. Biner is pleased to offer his patients sedation for dental extractions, wisdom teeth removal and dental implant placements. He is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. When not in the office, Dr. Biner enjoys biking, hiking and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Jaffer Kermalli, Periodontist 

Dr. Jaffer Kermalli completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) majoring in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto graduating with high distinction. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honours in 2008 and a Masters of Science (MSc) specializing in Periodontology at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 2011.

Dr. Kermalli focuses on treatment of periodontal (gum) diseases and related conditions as well as dental implant related surgery. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC) and a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Ontario Society of Periodontists and Ontario Dental Association. Dr. Kermalli is a part time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, has published extensively on dental implants and presented research at several international conferences. He is also an examiner for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and the Past President of the Ontario Society of Periodontists. He enjoys exploring and integrating digital work flows and 3D printing technologies to provide highly accurate and minimally invasive treatment to his patients.

Dr. Kermalli organizes and travels several times a year to treat under serviced areas such as orphans in Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, East Africa, Peru and refugee camps in Greece.

Dr. Barry Biner, Periodontist

Dr. Barry Biner was born and raised in Toronto. He attended the University of Western Ontario prior to early acceptance to dental school. He then pursued his dental degree at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2012. He worked in private practice as a dentist prior to serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. After postings in Ottawa,  Gander, and Saguenay, he left the military and continued his studies at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he received a Certificate of Periodontology.

Dr. Biner offers the full scope of periodontal care with particular expertise in implant-related surgeries, and plastic periodontal techniques. Dr. Biner is a licensed Periodontist by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

In his spare time, he loves running, Brazilian jiu jitsu and quality time with family and friends.

Meghan Couture, Treatment Coordinator

Meghan brings over eight years of dedicated experience to her role as a Dental Treatment Coordinator. With a passion for patient care and a keen eye for detail, Meghan excels in ensuring every patient receives personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

As a mother of two teens, Meghan integrates compassion and patience into her interactions with patients, creating a comforting atmosphere for those undergoing dental procedures.

Outside of work, Meghan finds fulfillment in home renovation projects and spending time with her family.

Kelly Brazeau, Office Manager

Kelly Brazeau is a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience in the dental field. Born and raised in Timmins, Kelly's journey in dentistry began when she graduated with honours from the Dental Assistant Level II program at Durham College in 2000.

Throughout her career, Kelly has worn many hats, starting as a dental assistant and receptionist, and progressing to roles such as treatment planner and office manager. 

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kelly finds joy in spending quality time with her family. Whether she's at the hockey arena managing her daughter’s team or enjoying leisurely activities in the summer months like boating and relaxing by the campfire, Kelly values the moments spent with loved ones. She is also actively involved with the Timmins Minor Hockey Association, contributing to her community in meaningful ways.

Sheryl Roy, RDH

Sheryl embarked on her journey in dental hygiene upon graduating from Cambrian College's esteemed Dental Hygiene Program in 1993. Since then, she has dedicated herself to serving the dental needs of the Timmins community. In November 2021, Sheryl joined Cedar Dental, where her wealth of experience and compassionate demeanor have already made a profound impact on the practice and its patients.

Outside of her professional commitments, Sheryl finds joy and relaxation in spending quality time with her family at their cherished cottage retreat. 

Graziella (Graz) Millions, RDH

Graziella has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 1991 after obtaining her diploma at Cambrian College. With over 30 years of experience in Timmins, she recently joined the team at Cedar Dental in 2024.

She strives to be thorough while also providing a comfortable experience. When not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors at the cottage with family and friends.

Marcie Perron, RDH 

Marcie Perron is a seasoned dental hygienist with 22 years of experience in general dentistry and a decade in periodontics. She is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health, always prioritizing their comfort and well-being. Committed to continuous learning, Marcie stays at the forefront of dental advancements to provide the best care possible.

Beyond her practice, she engages in medical humanitarian work worldwide, bringing essential dental care to underserved communities. Marcie's expertise, compassion, and dedication make her a respected professional in the dental field.
