Our experienced staff will design a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Ultimately, our goal is to make you feel comfortable and answer any questions or concerns you may have along the way.
Dr. Silvana Colantonio, DDS
Dr. Silvana Colantonio was born and raised in Timmins. She obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph before graduating from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry in 2016.
She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Timmins and District Dental Society and Xi Psi Phi International Dental Fraternity.
Dr. Colantonio acquired the practice in 2017 and has focused on creating a personal and welcoming office atmosphere by guiding her patients throughout the entire treatment process. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and playing soccer.
Joanne Viel
Joanne is our administrative assistant with over 20 years of experience and loves what she does. Joanne is a friendly, energetic, and social person who loves helping patients and coworkers alike. Joanne's number one goal is to put a smile on your face.
When she's not in the office, you can find her enjoying a good book, camping, walking, fishing and hunting.
Celine Gallant
Celine is one of our dental assistants. Her charisma is contagious and her positivity is a key asset to our office. She is always willing to help our patients and make them feel welcomed and at ease.
In her spare time, Celine enjoys spending time loving and laughing with her husband, son, and close friends.
Sheryl Roy
Sheryl graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Cambrian College in 1993 and has practiced in Timmins since then. She joined the team at Cedar Street Dental in November 2021. Sheryl’s personality creates a comfortable atmosphere for all of our patients.
In her spare time she enjoys family time at the cottage.
Sarah Butler
Sarah is one of our dental assistants. She uses her sharp wit and sense of humour to put patients at ease and keep them entertained throughout their appointment. Sarah joined our team as a receptionist before falling in love with dentistry and changing career paths in favour of dental assisting.
When not in the office, Sarah can be found spending time with family or taking a nap.
Domenic Colantonio
Domenic is our seasonal receptionist and Dr. Colantonio's younger brother. He is currently enrolled in the University of Toronto's Doctor of Dental Surgery program.
He enjoys interacting with patients and is eager to address any concerns you may have.
